My thoughts exactly. The tracks do look rather great even if they are not laser scanned. I still won't pre-order as I need input regarding the physics. I know it's not up to iRacing standards but if it's at least on GP4 level, it's good enough for some proper singleplayer fun with F1.

You are best waiting for the reviews and our feedback. They have added a new physics package at the last minute that is supposed to be good - we will see I guess. It looks like the perfect balance between arcade and simulation. Tbh I am just glad to finally have a good F1 game back on the PC with a decent developer.

i have pre-ordered this game on steam due to the fact im an F1 fan and its 10% off the
pre-order on steam, and then it will download automaticly on the 24th when it released.

I will give a review on the game on here when i have got it and had a play about with it.

It will preload before then (although we don't know exactly when). Will then be ready to unlock on the 24th :)

Monaco looks to good to be true in that video, the more I see of this game the more I am looking forward to it.

Less than two weeks to go.

Don't quite understand why the Yanks are getting it first, after all it's not the most popular from of motorsport in the USA and it developed in Birmingham, England not Alabama.

An entire 10% off, making it only £7.00 more than retail :p

It's because America has tuesday as their new releases day and UK is friday and some other regions its different again. This is a retail thing that seems to have spilt over into digital downloads as well. There are a few exceptions like big releaes (GTA4 etc) and some MMOs that have same day worldwide release....so no, I don't they're favouring the yanks

Monaco looks incredible. Can't wait.

For those worried about physics... seriously? I've seen two different clips now where real F1 drivers have lost it in corners, so I'm pretty sure its not like driving on rails, even if it isn't a full sim. I'd rather a more accessible game than something thats near impossible to drive without spending 2 hours on setup thanks very much.

so why dont america get it the tuesday after or us the friday before?

some people even think its a law computer games can only be released on a friday lol

Two things that make me scared, watching videos the handling of the cars seems very twitchy whereas if you watch it on TV its relatively smooth gliding through corners and second of all the videos ive seen i havent seen the tyres pick up any debris/grass/gravel, i dont think they would miss something this elementary, does anyone know if the tyres do pick up crap or wether it wasnt included for some technical reason?

I,m going to presume this is going to be Grid with F1 cars and not a Forza/Gt type Sim.... Which is fine by me as Grid was superb but i dont think this will suit people expecting an F1 Sim.....

Yes and no, you can have it as arcadey as Grid but there is a simulation mode that is pretty authentic apparently.
