What version of F1 2010 did you purchase

I don't have it either, it isn't just you, ordered it from the rainforest, and has shown as dispatching soon all day so I don't even know if I will get it tomorrow. I bought it for pc due to having a wheel but reading some of the problems on here, starting to think I should have got it for 360.
 
Just how are people getting steam to think your in the USA to unlock the the game. I have it pre-loaded and I've tried using Hotspot shield to fool steam (i use it for the likes of Pandora radio and amine streaming sites) and it works to the point that the steam store page is in USD but its not unlocking F12010, any ideas as the Driving Force GT I got a couple of weeks ago is gathering dust abit.

The DFGT works fine.

Have you tried changing your location in steam. (not sure if its that that works.)
 
This game is just brilliant. It's the right mix between arcade and simulation in my opinion.

Am playing on medium now with medium traction, still the noob braking line and it's just awesome!

Still think I could play it on hard as it's still letting me overtake people up until 5/6th when they start fighting back and blocking me etc.

Is it enough of a problem to actually reduce your lap time? Sounds rubbish in software mode :(

So glad my £45 "unsupported wheel" works perfectly and with no input lag :)
 
I texted my mum just now and she says a game-shaped box has arrived today, and because I haven't ordered anything else that fits that description recently, it's most likely F1 2010. Joy!

Unfortunately I don't get home until like 6pm, though... not so joyous, but at least it's there waiting for me. Can't wait to sink my entire evening into it.

I tried Hotspot shield first and it didn't work, so i went for a proper VPN and it worked straight away.

Having gone through a bit of a trial period (during which everything seemed to work quite smoothly) I can now finally present the (mostly) working Steam Names List wherein you will find a list of people who use the steam platform for online gaming and (eventually) the games which they play.

For the moment the games which people can associate their name with are:

Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead 2
Team Fortress 2
Counter Strike: Source
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (Now with added Bad Company 2 name column)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty: World at War
Borderlands
Killing Floor
Worms Reloaded

Of course, there can be more games added over time, just mention which ones you feel are appropriate and I'll update the list.

There are some basic instructions after the jump but nothing too complicated. Let me know if you have any problems and I'll try and fix them as soon as I can.

Once you've added yourself be sure to add a few people from the list to your own friends list :)

This list is merely an amendment to others work so thanks is due to FrenchTart (the poster formerly known as Aekeron) and Z0mb1e for laying the groundwork.

Whether it will be useful or not now is another matter but it only took a few minutes to knock up and can't do any harm.

Games currently on the list:

Bioshock 2
Dawn of War 2
Grand Theft Auto IV
Dirt 2
F1 2010

I've moved Dirt 2 onto the GFWL list as it really belongs there instead but don't fear, if you've added your name to the other list I've amended your details to the GFWL list.

Any other games which you feel need adding to the list just give me a shout and I'll sort it out.



Note: I've noticed a few issues opening up the googledocs in Opera since the latest Opera update but they work perfectly fine in IE8, Firefox and Chrome.
