turn the rapture settings down? its on your windows start menu under "blue ripple sound"

if the game detects you have a 4 core cpu it sets all the rapture settings to the highest and it uses loads of cpu maybe your quad doesnt like it

Have tried all that, software sound seems fine to me anyway.
 
What difficulty settings are you all using here? Extreme difficulty here, although keep getting tempted by automatic gears and traction - I do feel like anything aids are cheating though.
 
A lot of people are mentioning punctures when the tires are still showing as perfectly healthy. One thing to remember is that going over kerbs aggressively also damages the tires, it just doesn't show up in that graphic. I punctured my right front tire twice in Melbourne before realizing that I was probably shredding it quite nicely on a couple of the right handers.

So, you know, take it easy with the kerbs during races. So far I haven't had punctures on stints of 4-6 laps, so it's fine to push hard during qualitying.
 
I just cant do manual gears on this game! my brain is not quick enough.

Im playing with all other assists of and managed to destroy everyone on hard AI at spa with the last lap of quali. I haver managed to get it below 1.50 but somehow i managed a 1.48 and beat second by more than 2 seconds :D

Ill upload the video soon although fraps messed up the sound
 
I might be a little thick here... just got my copy and installed it. I alt-tabbed to post my thoughts here. Now I can't full screen again. I can't see a button to return me to full-screen. Help/Hint? :D

(games pretty good, done one race with hardest AI at monaco. Bit too easy IMO (lotus finished first), I'm oing to look into legend I thinks!!

It's been a long time since I've played an F1 game on PC that's for sure, and as I said ... I'm not saying the game is bad, it just doesn't suit my driving style in that I prefer a different kind of experience with a car that is designed to be slideable
