Quick question - is anyone else getting horrendous stuttering for 2-3s a few minutes into the game? Any fixes?

Also is anyone on a X360 pad noticing the car tends to steer left or right a lot without touching the stick?
 
Okay, having been playing for a few days, the only three things grinding my gears are the pit stop bug, the save data corruption issue and the AI difficulty. AI more than anything really, now I'm used to the game and can put fast consistent laps in, the AI are just far too slow. Hopefully a mod comes out tweaking it.


Also, the most common issues people are having can either be solved by turning off V-Sync and changing the Audio Driver setting to Software.

I can't adjust my Xbox pad? Any ideas? :(
 
Change controls to custom, then assign everything manually. With the Xbox pad, a 5% deadzone is obviously essential.
 
The turning circles are crap on these cars. Though I suppose if I have the aids off then I could possible just blip the throttle and spin it round. (Can in real life anyway, where you can do that in the game I don't know)

Also that reporter woman.. why couldn't she look like she matches her voice, or vice versa? Same with your engineer.
 
Engineer sounds EXACTLY like Robson Green, I'm sure its him!

...also that ******* pit lane bug, hadn't had it since I read someone say it on ere now its happened twice :(
 
just cleared my desk, dusted the wheel in prep for tomorrow evening :)

Received my copy through the post today, just had a spin around a few tracks.

My first impressions are:

Pros:

Graphics are good and really smooth with a gtx460 at 1920 by 1080

Car feels good and you have to make an effort to put in a good lap

Really like the engine temp thing - I'm always over revving!

So far the AI is ok

Cons:

Annoying invalidated lap when you go the slightest bit off the track or touch an armco barrier at monaco!

Ai cars are quite twitchy which can be distracting

Overall I'm loving it!
 
I've been enjoying this game a lot! Seems really good so far but the pit lane bug is annoying, I agree with what people are saying about the graphics looking dull though as well though.
 
What an awesome game! Finally playing somewhat comfortable on the highest difficulty setting. Its amazing how the handling changes even from corner to corner. :)
 
Sucks, almost a perfect race then some spacker has a bump in front of me which is an instant yellow flag as I'm overtaking him giving me a drive thru :/ /ragequit! :(
