Well this piece of **** game has managed to screw up my G27. Callibration now sounds like a grinding stone and the base makes a strange sound when I turn the wheel in game. Thank you CodeMasters!

The motors have probably gone on it, nothing to do with Codemasters. Get in touch with Logitech for an RMA.

Game can't cause an hardware failure :p Hardware causes hardware failures. The FFB on F1 2011 probably just make the motors kicking (as they should) which causes them to go boom!

G27 does make a pretty bad noise when you hit curbs though I think this is due to the wheel not having vibration motors only force feedback, so it emulates vibration with some major shudders :D

Anyone had an issue with the game freezing? I only had a quick go this morning but i had a few random 1 second freezes, like the old replay issue from last year.

Card is a 4870x2 cpu [email protected] most things on high/ultra 2AA 1680*1050

Spec should be able to cope, shouldn't it??

Ran the benchmark tool and got 41av 37 min.

Friend of mine in West London still hasn't recieved his copy from Shopto, needless to say he's pretty ****** off. Guys did the postman bring your copy or a Royal Mail van? And what did Shopto say again if they couldn't deliver it by release? I know they said they would credit your account but can't remember how much? Any info you can give to pass onto him would be much appreciated.

im loving it.

At first it took little while to get use to the handling, but it feels a lot better than f1 2010. The rain graphics is awesome, tbh i didn't think the graphics could get any better from f1 2010 but they have. I also like how the tyres change colour when driving on the grass. I've not had the safety car out yet but i think that's a very good idea to have.
