I'm using the xbox controller on pc and have bumped up the linearity scale and set saturation = 0.0 somewhere in a config file. Does this limit the maximum turn angle that I can get? Because I have seen some ghosts from here and I can't understand how they can turn tighter than me but go faster at the same time.
I have made a totally unimportant but fairly interesting (well, to me anyway) observation. 
Check out this recording I just made (should stream). I find it uncanny how similar the theme tune is to a 1960's tv show called 'The Avengers' if anyone here remembers that show.

I know how you feel - I would do exactly the same if that happened to me again so far in my SP career.

you had 231 degrees steering lock and 0% on everything in game except 10% on linearity and 2% on braking deadzone.
Me and my flatmate lost our co-op save due to corruption. 
Happened after Valencia, and after doing a quick google seems to effect a lot of people, if you have a game coming up to this point try lowering the race distance below 50% and getting thorugh Silverstone in a single session.

No and its quite ridiculous too. Built a new computer and transferred over all my save games. F1 was corrupt while Fifa worked flawlessly. I just wish F1 had a better save system. Having multiple profiles and career modes would be nice too.
There are still so many bugs in this game from last year and more it can be frustrating, but it is still fun to play regardless.
I may end up putting this down soon to concentrate on other games (especially if we don't end up getting more people to start the F1 league), at least till a patch comes out and see if that fixes the biggest problems.

No, it has plagued their games since the original Dirt and Grid games - seems to be a problem with the Ego engine and one they can't fix. Ridiculous imo.
