Agreed. I recently had a ridiculous situation with regards to DOW retribution collectors edition. Bought it for 7.99 in a sale. They sent me the standard edition instead so i complained and said i would like what i actually ordered. They then said if i return it they will send the collectors edition out to me straight away so i did just that.

I then get an email saying they have refunded me as they dont have the collectors edition in stock!

I then said well i will just have the standard edition but they said i wuold have to order it again...not for £14 i'm not! :mad:
 
For online races can we use mumble please with push to talk, listening to randoms or someone ramble on for the entire race couldn't be any more tedious?
 
Anyone having issues with pedal deadzone and linearity/saturation/whatever? I've got deadzone set to 0% but nothing happens until my accelerator is 1/4 of the way down, and then the engine is screaming at 18k when it's barely halfway down. I'm losing 3/4 of my pedal travel here, and I bloody need it!

Overall though, I think this is much improved over last years effort, even if it does seem like I need to learn everything again from scratch... :)

Well, the whole idea of Time Trial is to go as fast as you can, hence it defaulting to Rich Mix 3 (the fastest engine mode). Obviously in Career and Grand Prix modes these can be changed; however, using Rich Mix 3 in these two modes will result in higher fuel consumption. You don't need to manage fuel in Time Trial.

well yes, wouldnt be much fun if it was the same!


How are people finding the AI in the wet? With no traction control they are just destroying me on pro difficulty i just cant get on the power at all

In general the AI seem more crazy, a few kamikaze AI last night with me and Murray, particularly Spa and Kobayashi.

I will show you what I mean. Last year I could drive quite well this year it's really bad.

Dont need to get a video, last years driving model was flawed and too easy, this years is much has more realistic modeling of the suspension , It just feels better imo

From what I've seen nearly everyone is using driving aids to get them around the track as fast as possible, rather than learn the car setup and car handling without using driver aids. These are even people with wheels. :/

I use no assists at all! :(
 
If that was the case, the arrow would be greyed out like senna4life. The virtual racing line will light it up.

I used medium TC on that because it was completely unfair how much quicker they were out of corners due to it.

I don't use assists on anything else.
 
The time trial board will be ruined due to the suspension cheat and they will abuse it. It's one of the reasons I'm not playing online yet. No point playing against a bunch of cheaters unless you know some decent people to play fairly.
