Game is different for sure, you must forgot about the 2011 handling, that game had awful physics and was insanely arcadey. You need to be smooth with your driving this year and brakes I think are fantastic.

Apparently the handling will change slightly come release (probably the first patch soon after release) so hoping for better ffb and more feeling with traction control turned off as its almost impossible spin unless sat on top of a curb.

I changed my wheel settings to 320 degrees, 0% everything in-game. Here is another lap I did. Still not perfect and time can be made in S2.

f1 2012 Demo

So, anyone here got it? What do you think?

Correct me if i'm wrong, but have they not enable the full graphics for the demo? I thought it would be much better than that. I'm used to playing it on the xbox, but they don't seem that much different.

I know it's not a sim but it's so forgiving, as your video shows you can pretty much take any line and get through a turn. Corner cutting still seems to be an issue.

The one thing I've always been impressed with is the graphics and how smooth they run but can't say I was a fan of '10 or '11 and 2012 appears to be a re-hash.
 
Once you've gone through the demo once you will have access to a main screen where you can change the GFX options and whack them up fully, bit daft but there you go.
 
anyone else having problems downloading the demo on steam? on both the F1 2012 demo page and F1 2012 page i click Download demo and nothing happens
 
You still having trouble Reaper?

@Nismo - Yes they need to patch that so corner cutting gets penalised. These things always come out with a few glitches. Other than that, the game looks good!
