Hello wazza

I've done the top one and trying to run the bottom one, but have tried to run exe in CMD, but it wont run. I've never run exe that way before.

Steps to run the update tool:
1. Download the utility.
3. Open a command prompt window with administrator privileges
2. Select the utility in the directory or folder based on the operating system installed
a. 32-bit Windows use the utility in the Win32 directory
b. 64-bit Windows use the utility in the Win64e directory
c. DOS use the utility in the DOS directory
4. Run the executable file from the common prompt
5. The NVM image will be updated. Reboot the computer for best results.

I've followed it and it still wont run? If I get the full link in the exe properties it still doesn't work?

I don't know,ive asked for you though

does it drop the lan if your not overclocked? and tested both ports if you have them? sure the up5 has two ports

Thanks for all your help. I have bought a new cat5e did the drivers you came me. I've re-booted 2 times. It's working so far. It did that before though. It worked after reboot 5 times, then the 6th time it didn't? Oh well....It's not my network because my old PC works fine. I'll do more testing in a hour or so.

Thanks again my friend:)

Still can't safely remove any usb keys or drives with the
Z77-UP4-TH. Have upgraded the bios to the beta bios
and checked that xhci handoff and ehci handoff are enabled
in the bios. Have also tried the excellent safely remove tool available
here: http://safelyremove.com/ but that didn't fix it.

Although the tool couldn't detect any applications that
were preventing the safe removal which points to windows
or a driver issue. Have run the "slim drivers" app to update
the drivers too and that didn't fix it.

Is the a security setting or policy buried deep within windows
that could be preventing this?.

How do I re-set the settings in the bios? I have a little unstable oc and would like to go back the default settings? I used gigabytes oc'ing tool.

Never mind I found the cmos button. It worked a treat:)

Wazza can you help me OC my CPU on the Mobo. I know you showed me screen shots somewhere? What ever updated pics you have then I could print them off my printer and follow it that way. I know it something like putting in the values like 4.5 on each core or something like that? Any help would be grateful.

OC of 4.5 stable would be good. Don't want to go any higher.

Thanks mate:)
