***Official Gigabyte Z77X-UP4 TH, Z77X-UP5 TH and Z77X-UP7 discussion thread***

you need to look for spd system memory multiplier and set to 2133mhz then look for expert timings and set channel a and b timings to 9-11-11-21-1t and dram voltage to 1.55v

copy these settings(just the memory related ones)

I seem to be having problems with the usb3 ports on my
UP4 TH, drives will dissapear randomly I assume this is a
driver issue? I installed the latest drivers from the gigabyte
website should I be using other drivers instead?.

Z77 UP7 - does my ram do it justice?

I have this board which is waiting to be booted up in my newly maintained rig.
My CPU is i7-2700k, i know that will be ok but what i want to ask is wether or not my Ram is ok or not.
I have 8Gb 2x4GB of Kingston Genesis Hyperx 1600mhz, grey.

Thanks

I don't seem to be able to "safely remove" any usb hard drives
or usb sticks from my z77 up4 TH system?. I am using all the drivers
recommended on the gigabyte website apart from a newer intel usb3
driver (the recomended one is cac).
I am running win7 64bit pro and have checked to see what services
are running in the background on system startup and have disabled
no essential ones but the problem still occurs. Does anyone have any
thoughts? is it a driver issue or a windows setting or something else??

the driver versions are here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4280#dl
