I forgot about stock market on single player, logged in randomly to SP when my internet was down, check stocks and franklin had made 18m on an investment. Happy days.

I've just had a little play, same card and screen res as you.

It plays okay and doesn't look bad, I ran the benchmark thing and mainly got between 40 and 50 fps most of the time, with the odd drop below this on very rare occasions.

So definitely playable, but I am tempted to get a new card, just can't quite decide what to get. Tempted to wait for the next round of cards, but would be nice to play this with all the special stuff turned on!

Seems to be a semi-common memory leak issue.

I'm getting it with 4GB ram, others are getting it with 8GB, even a few 16GB reports on rockstars support page.
 
Had a few hours on this tonight. Mainly getting to grips with how it all works since I haven't played a GTA since Vice City on the PS2 :)

Loving it so far. It's a very rich and wonderfully realised game world. I also love that you can take photos and upload them onto your Social Club account too :)

I am running this on an i7 4770k (stock), 16GB RAM, and an AMD R9 290 reference (stock) and it has been running flawlessly, even on my old drivers (they are over a year old). I don't know what FPS I am getting but the game is running smooth, and most settings are on very high on 1080p. My refresh is set to 120, but I don't know if I am achieving that but so far I don't really care because the game runs as smooth as silk.

I blew a load (literally!) on a prostitute earlier. Man she was talking dirty! :eek:

Did a massive jump into a storm drain earlier too, trying to escape the rozzers :D Done some car upgrading, bought several weapons and upgrades. Got a hair cut.

So yeah, busy night! I can see this game taking up a lot of my time :p
 
bloody hell its taking long enough just to allocate space for the game im dreading the download

1 hour 30mins to download on steam at 10.5 MB/S although thats likely to change
