That said, servers are probably going to be really really broken on release, so I might try and load it purely so steam decrypts the files.
Does anyone know how they will handle things like the daily objectives? I'm on a 4 day streak on the PS4 at the moment and I'm wondering if it'll reset following a transfer to PC.

Got to be at work for 10am tomorrow can't decide to have an early night around 10pm after GOT and then get up and start playing at 3am or wait for 12am and play until around 4am.

If i find it somwhere for £25 or less I may grab it, I am going for holidays on thursday for a week so no point in rushing.

I've been looking around the web but couldn't find anything. When you click to play on Steam it comes up with a Box to ether click Play Single or Play Online, will it redirect you to R*SC ?
Also how's it gonna work regarding the money for Pre-orders via Steam.

Lol this, I have to wait too. I have the day off work, but I have to hand in my MSc final project at noon tomorrow (part-time). Gaming starts then
It's a good way to get to to know the ins and outs of the map, which is pretty damn vast! I played it on PS3, and that knowledge comes in very handy for online play I found.
Well I was around 2 hours on a 74mb connection, so 12-14 hours would be a reasonable estimate.
So from what I've read this unlocks tonight at 11pm gmt / 12am bst?

I have a 12mb connection and it took me a couple of days.
I have an 11mb connection and it took 24 hours or so from Steam, Rockstar though you could be anything from 24 hours to 3 days from what I've heard.

Gah - will be watching GoT at 9pm tonight then I'll be off to bed for the gym in the morning......and THEN I've just found out I have band rehearsal from 7-11pm tomorrow I thought it was on Thursday!

Same here. Also gives me a chance to acclimatise to the games dynamics so that when I jump onto MP, I'm not constantly getting owned. I haven't played a GTA game since the first one. Since then it's mainly been FPS all the way.
