14MBit = 1.75meg/sec at max. DL is 60000, 60k/1.75 = 34285 seconds = 9.5hrs at max speed.

If using the rockstar club downloader add in another 30% because it's awful.

Yes the day 1 patch that includes the missing files from the pre-load.

I am hoping to get a few hours on this tonight before bed, I might give MP a whirl at launch but if i get stuck in a mass of errors ill just load the SP instead, Lets hope the SP doesn't require online checks xD

For SP normally, someone posted it should be the same as Max Payne 3 and you can play the SP offline which would be amazing if its correct for this.

My only concern is when it first released tonight - whatever is required to get the preloaded files working may well be overloaded by requests and could delay a few people playing.

I think im going to stay up tonight, get everything sorted for it at midnight, and then patiently wait (with lots of crying throughout all my meetings tomorrow) until 8pm tomorrow night. And then its all go till work on Thursday!

No, the only place you can get it on steam is from steam, all other places use R* Social Club.
