Anyone heard anything else about needing space for extraction (Steam version)?

It's been yes, then no, then no, and now Steam comments are saying yes you need that extra space..

It was confirmed(the link is buried in the old thread) that you don't need anymore space for unpacking

on the System Requirements bit on Steam it says 65GB of available hard drive space, if it needs more room than that to unpack then they should have said so :/
will it bork a SSD if it fills it 100% by files unpacking? ive only got 27.5gb spare

afaik looking about abit you just use a Brazilian proxy to add the game to the basket on nuuvem (Hola will do), then change back to your own ip before you proceed to checkout.

I don't really like these sort of things, might just get from GMG. Cheers!

Can someone tell me the cheapest place to get this?

I've heard Nuuvem is cheap but not sure on reliability.

Myself and others have purchased from there and got keys instantly, few others haven't and will receive theirs tomorrow.

Hit and miss, save yourself the trouble get it via steam.
