***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

I bet there Will be dude at Rocksar headquarters standing next to server room with extinguisher at 12 am UK time, when everyone will hit play button, something somwhere will explode

Some games load faster (a lot actually) on SSD, I'm curious about pop in. Doesn't matter, I moved DA:I to my HDD for now and stuck GTA on the SSD. I hope it runs well! Not having known that they didn't send out a press release has put me back onto the back foot and makes me think PC gamer were slipped some money for the 'review' based off questions they put up.

I don't mind load times being a bit longer as long as the game runs fine, I'm interested to see what difference there is with this game though so after a few days I may move it to my ssd and see how much of a difference it makes.

I'm not brave enough to be an early adopter. I like to lurk in a bush and see if there be monsters before I dare venture out.

It seems to be a familiar pattern, everyone gets excited for weeks, game comes out, most people moan and express their disappointment -and the place is littered with high res screenies. :p

Why is it that youtube video's relating to GTA V seems to be mainly "how to get 1000000 dollars" or some other cheap glitch or cheat?.

I used to use all the cheat codes when I played GTA as a teenager fair enough, now in my mid twenties I value the time I spend on games much more, opting for a 'purer' experience. PC MASTER RACE?

I think because Ive played a lot of mmo's in the past 5-10 years I am expecting GTA to be similar? How much has it evolved from the GTA3/Vice city days? Is there a 'endgame' as such?

Maybe because there are still teenagers around despite you being older :P

Caved in and bought a wired Xbox 360 controller. Going to be trying K+M with the cars then switch to the controller. If the controller isn't much better I'll stick it on the MM. Got a feeling it will better though.
