I thought that the whole map is open after the first couple of intro missions?

Guns though, I think you have to unlock by completing missions.

GTAV Mods.

Get a simple trainer and it will unlock all the cars/mods/guns.

No real need for "cheats" so to speak, not like the old days of left, right, up, up, down, left, circle etc

If you are unsure about mod's the following cheat codes work in game..... Some need to be unlocked though.

Self radio... Awesome.
Set up a driving play list (my old work play one) and it is great lol
You get funny jingles about music you don't own and the station for one, adverts etc, so pretty much a normal GTA station but with your music.

Only issue is volume of the tracks, I have had to run most through Audacity to increase the play back volume as GTA does not equalise the tracks..

Guys what SweetFX is everyone using?
I'm a bit of a SweetFX whore and can't find a happy medium.
I've decided the preset I posted recently has too much contrast.
I love the clarity of Quentins but finding it to be too dull and yellowish.

K-putts is OK but the SMAA can't be ramped up enough for my liking, and my 970 doesn't like MSAA.
I'm using the latest ReShade off their website

Slash thats the one I linked a few pages back, but finding the contrast a bit much.
Its very dark at night and makes it difficult when I need to poon noobs.

What about this one man, looks like it gives the colours a boost and removes the Vaseline smearing effect, but doesn't appear to make the shadows overly dark:

When was the last time you ran the game?

There has not been a patch for three weeks... 1.33

You could try entering the following text into commandline.txt forums in the route GTA directory -varify (if the files is not there, create one) and start the game from the launcher. That will check the game files and red download all files that are out of date.

If you are on steam. Use varify game cashe to do the same...
