***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

So to answer my own question yes it does run on a 960 and i7. :D

Really butter smooth, they definitely learnt their lesson from GTA IV. Question though, is it the same engine? It feels very similar to me.

Unfornately I can't bump up texture details above normal (because I run out of VRAM!) but everything else is whacked up to max. EA Games could learn a thing or two from Rockstar about optimization.

What happens? I can't see that link on my phone. Googled it and can see the same link and that it is somerhing to do with when the police chase; though that's all I can read in the google search options.

His keyboard backlights are flashing red and blue when being chased by the cops

One thing I noticed at the start of story mode was I must be getting old, the tip message were coming far to fast for my old brain to try and read whilst learning to drive; spongyfied grey matter from too many nocturnal emissions?

Same for me and especially when in some action.

As far as I know this is still the rage engine at work , EA optimize pretty well , it's ubisoft and all there open world crap that need the lesson

anyone know if it's a bug having to restart between games, if you quit you can't go back in, the social club just spins without connecting, reboot and it works every time.

I got up at 3am after leaving the computer on last night with it counting down. It was all ready to play.

I had already done 70 hours online with the xbox 360. Really impressed with this version, runs really smooth with a constant 60fps @ 1440 and the graphics are excellent. Played 4 hours with clan mates and had a good laugh.

Can people who dont has spec signs just give us a quick indication of spec and performance please? I have an i5 3570k with 8gb ram and a gtx 660 so am curious if it will be ok :p
Plays bf4 at max detail no worries!

I have a 680, 3770k @ 4.8ghz, 8GB ram 2133mhz (or around that can't remember) and I'm getting 60 fps at 1440 with all settings a high / very high.

edit - Anisotripic Filtering is at x16, my textures are on medium.

Game runs like a dream, got everything maxed and the lowest I've seen it go is 80fps while driving at speed. Also something strange, the game is reporting over 8gb of vram and using around 6gb. So is it using the vram from both of my cards? I was under the impression SLI would only used the vram from 1 card? I'm not complaining, just found it a little strange

Just got up to run it this morning and after hours of downloading (from rockstar direct not via steam) I get a zlib error in game. Their online support solution - uninstall and re-download .... Argh

Got up at half 6, started decrypting then it ran out of disk space! :/ Tried to move it but looks like i'll have to re-download and play after work...
