My idea is not to go below 1m this time lol, cash is there to be spent!

Where's bagpuss when you need a boost! He keeps inviting me to heists but every time I get the session full message.

LOL usually about and if I see you on later I will invite if I can :D

Anyway...... from R*

Question: Are certain 3rd party programs such as visual overlays, chat applications or PC performance tuners causing people to be banned in GTA Online?

Answer: We meticulously test many common 3rd party programs to ensure that their use does not cause players to receive an unjustified suspension or ban. These include visual overlays/FPS displays like Afterburner and audio chat programs like Discord and TeamSpeak, among many others. As long as the programs being used do not violate our Terms of Service and/or End User License Agreement, they will not cause a ban in GTA Online.

Coolio, they already answered back in the earlydays that sweetfx wont get a ban so thats me covered now since the only other things im using are AB and comms.

Yea, I have used Reshade/AB since the beginning and have never been banned.

I wasn't on much last night, just did a bit of a drive around for a bit a of a release and then went and watched the OA.

On that note, though the GTB custom may be slower around your average track because of the downforce vs spoiler thing but if you drive it based on it's strength it is a really nice drive.

I think that the latest cars they added are a test of the downforce system and that eventually the spoiler's traction bonus will be replaced by downforce. I just doesn't make sense to have two different bonuses in the way it does now. With the latest DLCs the specter and the GTB it gave them the opportunity to test the same vehicles with the different bonuses... Just my theory.

In any case they should increase the GTB downforce.

It's nice that R* have added a ton more missions to the online side of things but for the love of god, why don't they upgrade to faster/better servers?! It's not like they don't have the money for it...

It's all peer to peer afaik, would probably break a ton of stuff making it run through their own server. It's also why the cheaters have been prevalent for ages :(

Urgh so no chance it will ever be improved then :(

Saying that even when just joining friends private servers, it still takes forever (and this is with both having fast/good connections :/)

What ever network they use to connect players to each other needs speeding up big time, theyve gotten longer and longer as the game goes on, also they need to make it so when you try to connect to a mission thats already filled up it doesnt then disconnect you from your session and connect you to a new one, that eats up so much time whenyour just trying to jump into a random heist.

I dont see why it doesnt start an ingame queuing system where it adds you to a queue and if your not the first 3 people to click connect then it doesnt even try to add you to their session an just leaves you in yours.

Just installed GTA V on Steam but it keeps crashing. The game launches at 800x600 so I changed it to 1440p, restart the game but it crashes every time as the game loads (some times if you click or interact with the menu). Any ideas? Running Windows 10 with latest AMD drivers.

EDIT - managed to restart the game after chaging to 1440p and load it back up again without it crashing, resolution reverted back to 800x600

I would locate the gameconfig.xml and set the res in there and see if that makes it stick.

Also change the version of Direct X and see if that has an effect.

Yeah i have a copy of the config file so if swapping monitors or something messes it up i just write over it with the copy, i save a Max settings and a Low settings version depending on what im doing ingame.
