You should be hitting about 28k GPU score with them clocks, you could have driver issues. Run the heaven benchmark and post screens of the results. Make sure you have no AA or AF on in the CP.

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
I am tempted to buy a 3rd 580 but concerned that even at 4.2ghz at 2560x1600 it won't be a huge improvement like going from single to sli was.
Does anyone know how 3 way scaled on the 580 and what sorts of cpu speeds and res you need to make it worthwhile ?
So yeah, stick to 2-way SLI we say -- unless you need to break 3DMark records of course
http://www.evga.com/articles/00597/On November 9th, 2010 EVGA unleashed the fastest GPU on planet earth, the EVGA GeForce GTX 580. This card truly obliterated the competition with 512 CUDA Cores, 1.5GB of DDR5 and incredible overclocking features. This card is fast, but Vince "k|ngp|n" Lucido knew he could go faster.
k|ngp|n was able to take 4 EVGA GeForce GTX 580s and crank them past 1GHz GPU Core Clock on an EVGA Classified SR-2 motherboard and EVGA Classified 1200w PSU. The result? Another 3DMark Vantage World Record at over 73,000 points. The World Records do not stop there though, k|ngp|n was also able to take the single card World Record at over 42,000 points!
With these record breaking performance scores and enthusiast features, it is no wonder why EVGA products are the number one choice amongst overclockers, enthusiasts and gamers!
Even at £311 I;m still not sure I have made the right decision in buying two of them
Somebody persuade me that I have before I cancel my order?
I love on a lot of reviews that i've seen people are saying it's only 10FPS faster ... but thats 30FPS Vs 40FPS on crysis thats 25%.. it's quite amazing to me i don't think 30fps is very playable for a FPS but 40 is.
My order still says 1st December?
