First game I've pre-ordered for years, if ever, decided to snap it up for 48 quid as I quite fancy it and it probably won't drop in price for a while. Sadly, buying this now makes me anti-trans or something, according to the internet :(
 
Anyone know the cheapest place for a series S code for this? I only have the S so not sure if that means im stuck for the Xbox store option only on the console?

Well - it does according to a very shouty, very minority, very ill-informed group.
But hey, let them get on with it.
 
I actually preordered this and I went for the Deluxe edition which means I'll actually be able to play it from Tuesday. Or I would, if I wasn't away for work for most of the week. Always happens whenever I get early access to a game, I'm never around to actually benefit from it :)

Wasn't sure whether to get it for the Xbox Series X or the PS5 but from what I've read the PS5 version has some exclusive content so I figured that was the way to go given that they'll likely be pretty much identical otherwise.

Serious question : which House will you all be choosing and why ? I can see quite a few here going with Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. There's a sneaky few I can see choosing Slytherin. No self respecting OcUK member will go with Hufflepuff .... or will they ? ;)

What makes them different from each other ? I’ve never read any book, or seen any movie

Each House is associated with certain virtues or traits : Gryffindor with bravery, courage and determination ; Slytherin with pride, ambition and cunning ; Ravenclaw with wisdom, wit and learning ; Hufflepuff with loyalty, patience and dedication. So, for the purposes of the game, I imagine this will lead to 4 different paths ( there is meant to be multiple endings ). Those who want to dabble in Dark Arts ( or be evil ) will probably join Slytherin given the associated traits.

Game's getting very good reviews overall, which is great as I was really looking forward to it.

Skillup is usually spot-on with his opinions IMO but he's not going to review it as he didn't get a key and doesn't want to review after the embargo.
 
Yeah quite glad to see it getting good reviews. Also happy to see IGN reporting around 30 hours of play time for the main story, that's not too bad.
