**OFFICIAL** I cannot access the shop/forums thread

I was having intermittent issues with the forum just showing a blank page in FF. Worked fine in IE.
Deleted my OCUK cookies and it worked fine in FF. Still getting some timeouts though.
 
Quite apposed others, the forums and shop are unavailable under Internet Explorer (3 Mobile Broadband), but both seem to be working at the moment in FF. Both shop and forums seem fine from various university connections.

Any clue what the sweet F is going on lads?

In the end I just drove there and bought my gear in person. :D
 
Since all the hassles started, is anyone else getting this weird red tinge around most of the forum buttons or is it just me? :-

If it is as several people have presumed - that it's a sustained DOS attack (which nowadays are usually done to try and hold that person's website to ransom) - I can completely understand them not wanting to come out with a statement saying 'unless we pay X this will keep on happening'.

Equally, if they still don't have a clue why it's happening - well that's beyond embarrassing at this stage and not something a website would want to admit as everyone would (probably rightly) think that the people running the server don't know what they're doing.
