*** Official Infamous 2 thread ***

Downloaded the first one to finish it as an evil dude.
2 things I have noticed after playing the demo of the second game are that:
1)It looks like crap compared to 2!
2)You can't skip chuffing cut scenes :mad:

Just watched the gamespot review. What a load of ****! Just from playing the demo I can tell it's better than the first. The camera is my only real problem.

What's the latest on this Beta access? Shopto seem to be selling EU versions of the game for ~£35 and a separate UK edition for £38 which is advertised as having U3 Beta code (The EU version isn't). On top of that the PS blog said all copies of U3 would have a code and I am also a PS+ member.

What is the cheapest way for me to get inFamous 2 and guarantee Beta access for U3?

I got this today. And it's much better than the first game. I agree that doing the same side missions over and over is a bit rubbish.
 
I think I had a couple to go on Infamous 1 before my save was destroyed - not looking forward to do that again especially as the sequel has dropped though the letterbox

I don't know whether to go through all 350 in I1 with a map or what. Do you get anything in Infamous 2 for having all 350? I can only find import bonuses for 25% or 50% of the shards, not the whole amount.
 
Issue I have is that doesnt sound like its based off trophy info (as I think you only get a trophy for 100% shards) and off a save, which unfortunately I dont have :(

Do you have any further details what the exact bonuses are and what they relate to in I1? I need to do the evil playthrough and more than happy to do it - loved I1...

I only found this -

When you boot up Infamous 2, you'll see an option that says "import Trophy data." By selecting it, the game will read your online Trophies and give you access to the following perks if you meet the criteria.

Have good or evil Trophies from Infamous: Start Infamous 2 at level 1 good karma or level 1 evil karma.

Infamous Trophy for 25 percent of the Blast Shards: Free energy core in Infamous 2.

Infamous Trophy for 50 percent of the Blast Shards: Two free energy cores.

Finished Infamous with any karma standing on any difficulty: 1,000 bonus XP for Infamous 2.

Specific Trophies for Specific Infamous decisions: Reflect side missions, Dead Drops and dialog variety in Infamous 2
