**** Official Infamous: Second Son ****

Nah you pick your path. You can do certain good choices and certain evil choices but it's more coherent to stick to evil choices if you choose that path.

I'm now about half-way through and have good karma, if I switch now to only doing evil actions will I lose my good karma skills?

Yes. I completed it with Good and am messing around in the openworld now. I am slowly becoming evil and each time my Karma level drops, I lose an amount of missiles, or speed of absorbing stuff. Obviously as you get more evil, you will get these back.

I did my evil playthrough as my second one for the platinum on expert and I found it way easier than good karma playthrough. It seemed way easier to get the big kill streaks which just killed everything in the area and then some :p

agreed, when i did my good play through i was always worried about hitting civvies, but on my evil i just let rip and watched the bodies pile up lol

I'm being fairly indiscriminate, I try to avoid killing civilians and generally stun and then subdue large groups of drug dealers but DUP I take out and sometimes when I blow up an APC there's collateral damage. Still I'm entirely blue on my jacket, maybe cos of all the tagging :) - an interesting but annoying feature.

Is there any point in playing through from the start and gunning entirely for evil or is the story the same?

Best part for me :D my girlfriend was confused as she kept hearing *rattle rattle fssshhhhhhhhhh* followed by OH WOW I PAINTED A CAT!

COLE'S LEGACY?

Yes. How is it?

I'm at 80% game completion and am at true hero, I've just started going to the darkside and started a new save slot path, it seems like there aren't going to be enough shards around to max out the evil powers after having maxxed the good ones, just wondering if there is another way to get them or if I should just replay the full game as ruthless.

If I take on the Augustine mission now with that smoke criminal will I still be able to go back to the districts afterwards and complete all the little missions I missed or is it game over after Augustine?

I made sure I had 100%-ed everything before doing this.

Although I believe there is one drone/shard up on the big tower that you can only get to in the closing stages of the game due to the electric fence that runs round it.

You get to go back and complete anything you missed once you beat the final boss.

There are not enough shards to maximise both good and bad powers in one play through, there is exactly enough to maximise one karma side + concrete powers.
