Well, that's the first time in a long time that I've killed a CPU
after de-liding what can processors do extra for same temps ? another 200-300mhz ? thats what around 5-7% extra performance ?
seems a lot of risk for little reward
Don't install any, just let windows take care of it,you might just need the lan driver off the mb cd

That's all I did. Just the LAN driver then everything else from Gigabyte's website. Using the Z87X-UD3H here and not had any problems. Had one BSOD but that was with using my old OS install. So far so good. Keep persevering bud!![]()
no issues here either with a D3hp or whatever its called.
Did have a problem with the board wanting to boot my cddrive no matter what and the only way to load windows was to press F12 and select the boot device manually
then I found out the cdrom BBS settings override the HDD boot order![]()
You make the jump from x58 then mate? Iirc, you had a pretty good clocking 920.Yeah pretty impressed with this little board so far. Not had any issues with it and already clocked upto 4.8GHz on 1.26V (CPU-Z).
