Not really worth starting a thread for so I'll ask here. Anyone know why my Steam taskbar icon keeps disappearing? The others are still there, I have to reboot to get it to show up.

It is for me too, has been since 8am. Seems to refuse to accept my credentials. One assumes I've not been hacked

Does allow me to register and login via the web store though.

And now managed to get in @ 10:38

Just found http://steamstat.us/ which seems to indicate everything is ok. I don't know... :confused:

Still down for me. Dual boot system and same on both.
It updated on one OS but both still say unable to connect to the internet.

Keep trying to connect or add -tcp at the end of a steam shortcut (uses tcp connection instead of udp iirc).
