Just what I was after. Much appreciated

Are you connecting via 5ghz? Try a 2.4ghz network and see if the same issue occurs (disable 5ghz on your router as a test).
Which USB wifi adapter are you using? Can you try another? There are tons of different adapters, they sometimes need to add code to support newer ones (even ones that look identical, one can work, but a newer one won't until added)
schismtv build is fantastic.
live tv uses the ivue guide and original iptv streams.
thoroughly recommend it
I know - this will have been asked a hundred times before but I'm looking for recommendations on buying a box with a budget of about £50 Max. I'm after a plug and play solution as I'm not that fussed about mucking about with installing different builds. Doesn't need to be 4k as my LG LN575 is only 1080p.
Ta in advance.
Did you find one? What do you play to do with it? Stream from a NAS? Or just use Netflix etc?
I'd like to know the same thing.
Had previously been using an Xbox 360 in the bedroom for streaming and Netflix etc., but it's gone and red ringed on me.
Time to swap it for a box instead.
So, budget ~ £50, must have wifi built in (n preferably), support Netflix and streaming from file server (not fussed on whether it's SMB, Plex or whatever) with native h.264 support.
Any recommendations? Thought about just going for the Fire Stick as I do have Amazon Prime so can make the most of that, but I wasn't sure if any of the other Android boxes were more worth a look?
Cheers, folks!![]()
I bought the Amazon Fire 4K for £65 and it's worth every penny. Kodi works flawlessly and vey quick, can't recommend it enough.

Me too, I looked around, £65 for the Amazon Fire 4K is the best bang for buck.
It might not have the raw power of the Shield but i don't play games on it. It also needs to have a small footprint which this does so it was between this and the ATV4. The ATV4 is just too expensive, twice as much, and even though i am heavily invested in to the Apple Ecosystem, with all their other stuff, I just can't bring myself to do it.
The Amazon Prime video is the icing not the cake, I was going to run Plex and Kodi became the clincher and cherry on top.
I have also put in a 32G SD card inside so it should never run out of room.
