Not sure if this will do the trick but have you tried:
HKLM/System/ControlSet001/Control/Video/{91357F10-E8FC-41DF-AB9F-FDA3D0E8698A}/0000/TVEnableOverscan = 0
and
HKLM/System/ControlSet001/Control/Video/{91357F10-E8FC-41DF-AB9F-FDA3D0E8698A}/0000/DigitalHDTVDefaultUnderscan = 0.
Quick question.
I am going to set up my old PC as a HTPC for the parents and was wondering how much could I underclock a Q8300 to keep it at reasonable performance for XBMC 1080p content yet power effecient as possible.
Firstly, forget the official app, it's rubbish in comparison to Yatse.
Secondly, how are you configuring the Host within Yatse - are you using computer name, or IP address?
Android can have issues with resolving a computer name (ie it might not like "server"), but will connect fine using the IP address of 192.168.1.200
You can check whether XBMC is configured correctly by trying to connect to the IP/port combination in a web browser, it should give you a basic XBMC screen with a couple of options in the top right corner.
Yes, both of those are enabled, and I've got the firewall turned off, I've also tried forwarding the ports in my router.
Anyone else here using Yatsee for Android? it is awesome!
When I last tried the official remote, it didn't work with XBMC 12, whereas Yatse does.
Yatse gives you so many more features and is updated much more regularly, even with stuff that you never realised you wanted or needed!
