*** Official Kodi (née XBMC) Thread ***

For LiveTV, you need to use one of the supported back end applications - which one you choose is dependent on personal preference, as well as which operating system you use.

I personally use Argus TV on my WHS 2011 server.

As for skins, there's plenty out there, again I personally use Aeon Nox.

Is there any which are like virgin/sky, so show small live TV eat top with epg list underneath? That omen doesn't appear to show the live TV bit?

Is there a list with screen shots somewhere?

Having a nightmare. I have scraped my library and all is good. All my movies are on external Hard drives though.

When I reboot my pc and try to play a movie I get an error saying file isnt available. From reading its seems that when I reboot my pc the hard drives loose there path with xbmc.

Is there any way to force these drives to boot in a way xbmc always reads them?

Thanks

Windows 8.1 x64

How are you accessing those external hard drives? USB? Ethernet?

Are there any add-on's that improve the functionality of photo viewing within Kodi??

The viewing, rotation and slideshow are fine but I'd like the option to zoom in if possible? (I'm using OpenElec as it happens but I'd imagine things will be similar functionality-wise?)

Thanks...

I'm bored of the hassle of my Windows PC based HTPC.

What's the cheapest, smallest, most hassle free solution for a Kodi box that's going to effortlessly handle full HD at least, streaming from a server (wired at the moment), 5.1 at least, be ideally silent and low power, yet not struggle with large libraries and all the artwork like the RPi does?

My current setup is a Windows 7 PC with a passive ATI graphics card in it doing audio through HDMI. When it works it's brilliant, but the whole 'Windows-ness' off it infuriates me. Its just overly complicated and cumbersome for something that I want to turn on, use XBMC, and then turn off.

I turn my Windows PC on and it boots to XBMC. After pressing the power button, I don't need to access the keyboard or mouse unless I want to shut down. Everything is controlled by PS3 controller. I even flip between Steam and XBMC using only the controller.

I really don't see what's overly complicated about any of it?
