***Official Le Mans 24 Hours Thread***

So 10+ laps more gives you the potential for 20% less pitstops...

Was it 2010 where the race was won by the difference of a single pitstop?

I really hope the Deltawing does well. I would hate to see them 'do a Mansell'

"Doing a Mansell", like "doing a Lambo" :p

I didn't realise the other teams were getting that sort of distance out of tyres. That's pretty good going for all of them!

Still got to pit for fuel though unfortunately, usually when teams do tyres they do driver change which lasts another 50 seconds on top due to the regulations about what you can do at once.. Audi last year pushed for a tyre change every fourth fuel stop. Peugeot went for a tyre change every three but went a lap longer on the fuel. Last year was won by 13 seconds or so, and came down to a pit stop.

Unfortunately with the loss of Peugeot I think any chance of such a finish again this year is slim :(

My GF has also booked up all Sunday with fathers day stuff and the Saturday is taken up with seeing friends and a house warming, so seeing much of the race is going to be difficult this year :(

I don't know the Toyota has been relatively quick out of the box, could be more interesting than I thought initially when Peugeot pulled out.

cracking videos of the testing

that Toyota sounds epic, and the Lotus Lola Rebellion cars

I might have to say that I think the Aston GT sounds better than the Vette in the video. We'll have to see on the day :D

Mainly Eurosport / Eurosport HD. There's about half an hour on Saturday evening where you need to jump to Eurosport 2 though.

Certainly doing end to end. Not sure who's presenting but I assume it's the usual mob.

It's like Test Match Special but with cars, love it!

I find you get better commentary on Radio Le Mans. Last time I had a video feed but had Radio Le Mans playing for the commentary. They should be broadcasting online all next week, throughout the week and during the practice sessions :)

radio lemans is one of the best places to listen to the race, dont have sky again this year so i will have to fine different ways of watching. Audi did a rather good website last year that had race feed's aswell as onboard and live telemetry. I will be stocking up on redbull's this week for my annual 24hr stay awake :)

Yes, click the link that I posted and there's a 'listen live' link. There's live broadcasting most of this week.
