Don't like the centre lights on the Aston. Makes it look buck-toothed. :(

Aston's should either look elegant or aggressive... not like Bugs Bunny.

aerodynamic reasons to get air into the brakes? not too bad how it lines up with the livery.
> No just seen the other car has them on the edge, just to differentiate them then?

I should know this: they don't change brake pads/disks do they? Unless they have to that is?

I think the fact that it's sat in the "passenger" seat right under the on board camera helps us hear it.

I'm still not convinced by the safety of having a 5 or 6 kilo weight spinning at 100'000rpm in the cars.

Last I'd heard they had only been tested with impact tests of 20g. Predicted to be safe with an 80g impact.

Until it's exceeded impact tests greater than the highest survived impact g recorded *which is 180g* I don't want it near me.

I think you're right to be nervous - 500KJ is a heck of a lot of energy to have kicking about. At least with capacitors/batteries they can be grounded, a flywheel has to spin down by itself.

Or it has an emergency brake that helps stop it.
car flips = mercury tilt switch ;) = brake stops flywheel... for example
