I dont mind being spammed when marked as away, but when I'm in the middle of a game its a bit stupid

Sign out of friends when in game. Simple

I always get spammed when AFK lol :/

Have you never noticed how your status changes to Away after 5 mins of no mouse movement? I would call this Auto-Away

See that's the problem then, it's not clever enough to know when I'm at the PC or not as my PC is on 24/7 and when I'm away I have stuff going on so STEAM will not autoaway.

MSN for example does set me as autoaway when I'm physically not moving the mouse/pressing keys when I turn autoaway on and stays that way until I make an input via m/k.

Oh yes, removing friends features when in game is definitely a way of stopping this.... unless friends is needed for team vs or something

Er... so does Steam... they both go autoaway if you aren't making any inputs regardless of whats going on in the background. Unless you're in game, then you're set to away, just no-one can see it, but then again thats your own fault for going afk while in game ><

Does anyone fancy playing through the campaign at some point? Only managed to get through the first two so far as I just cant find a group that does not log out the moment something goes wrong...

February, I believe it was. Links DC and DC. Brings back the original survivors.

All we know is it involves the original survivors in some way. It could mean anything though. They could die, we could just see them somewhere to explain a gap in the story between rescues, they could make it an 8 play coop, 16 player vs map, who knows.
