***Official Left 4 Dead 2 Thread***

Picked this up on Saturday for £20, been playing it a bit today, rather fun :D. Once I get some time I'll have to have a game with you guys :).

Yeh, another woops moment as both teams died in Parish:3 when you drop into the sewers and can only move at 10% speed lol. Fixed now at 85%. ;)

Will sort out the more up to date sourcemod for ocuk1+2 in due course. :)

I think me actually losing midnight was also quite amusing. I charged, got annoyed that I hit a wall so couldn't take whoever I was carrying to the floor, then realised midnight hadn't come back from being hit during the charge. Checked score list, he was listed as DOWN, I couldn't find him though :(

a few of us host some servers, there's about 6 of them :) just add anyone with a link to their steam account in sig, or find Antars Steam Names list, let us know who you are and you might get into a few games

Thought you meant you had reduced speed in water by 10%, not to 10% :rolleyes:

Can only imagine how much fun hard rain would've been :p

well i think ill be getting l4d2 next week... so update me lol.. what do i need to catch up ? maps? mods? w/e... :)


Edit - well just got it for 16quid including P&P should be here before the end of the week.. !

Bucks is coming back to L4D? OMFG! Get a mic though mate, seriously. There is no tolerance for lack of mic these days.

The worst case scenario is get a cheap ass one that makes you sound like there are crickets in the room with you.

Not a lot to catchup on, just need to learn new tactics for maps, new infected tactics and all the "plays" that you have to make.


The melee weapons are pretty much standard instead of pistols as secondary weapon, with the exception of the desert eagle. Lots for you to be learning!

will do lol i can fallow others and the basic "skills" are still there from l4d ;)
 
I honestly don't get it... a public game with a mod that gives you 'points' for killing stuff, and you spend those points to get all types of gear including non-standard weapons... and its on expert. Why bother playing with such an easymode mod and go on Expert?
