The easiest things to do with medkits are 1. leave them alone 2. remove kits outside the saferoom or 3. remove them entirely. Anything else just won't work. You can change a lot of variables for the server itself, just look around for explanations of the console commands and upload the new server config. Just don't do anything extreme.
What me and defrag do with kits:
Remove all pills from map
Replace all kits with pills
This causes ~4 pills per map, just about helping that struggling team get through on temp.
It is possible to remove 1/2 the kits and stuff, but it gets complicated. Removing director pills is a good idea, because director likes to change them to kits to help one of the teams out

OcUK 1+2 (standard servers) don't change medkits at all, whilst OcUK 3+4 (Insanity Versus) do the same as Defrag and Elusionist's servers as they are designed to be more hardcore.
You need sourcemod to kick/ban/slap. A quick google search should find you the wheres and hows. If you run into problems with it i would guess Link to Insanity won't mind if you give him a poke (if he does then tough cookies).
You don't NEED sourcemod (or any other mod) to kick/ban, but it does help

And about aimbots, there are a lot of people that seem incredibly "dodgey" when speccing 1st person, but I've only run into a few that I'm convinced were aimbotting... and even then I didn't care because my team was winning

Can't remember the last time I played scavenge, forgot it was even there, though I remember it being quite fun.

We sit in there and chat/trash talk/abuse midnight in there most nights. Some people go sit in their own room and play Team VS and ignore the rest of us because they are" too good for us", but the majority are about gaming and so forth

Maybe, but Steve! asked me at like 10/11pm or something. We had just finished the regular insanity game 8-9pm.
A lot of us have work and real lives to fit in around playing some L4D2, unlike Steve, Midnight, etc.
Maybe make yourselves available for the game time we all play at and we should be happy days. It's nearly always around 8:30pm.
Yeah we played insanity the other night, while it was good, I probably still prefer team vs.
I might be on later, but I'm starting some coursework now, so I've got a good 5 hours or so which should be enough time to finish it.

I have work to fit my schedule around. I'm also always up for a game up until about 2am
Everyone else is a wimp and apparently needs sleep. I think we only asked you that late because we had one drop out, I'm really not sure
but what's wrong with a second game, 10 isn't exactly late.

I've still got you on my steam friends, Buckz, so gimme a shout if you want a game.
It wasn't just a midnight molly, you waited until I was trapped in a small lift (on Hard Rain) with pools of spitter acid at my feet, THEN you flung flaming vodka at me - that's an M&S Midnight Molly.
I still like a game of Scavenge - and even Survival - finding a game is difficult, however, as Insanity Versus is far more popular. Perhaps we should try and get a Scavenge/Survival group together and play a game now and then.
