The changes were definitely an improvement on 8v8, though im sure i never actually seen 2 chargers at once?

Keep getting the bug (if it is a bug) where i end up being the same infected throughout the entire stage, first stage i was a spitter over and over and finale i was a hunter over and over, never played as anything else :(
 
Good game tonight guys.

Trouble with 8vs8 is that any normal vs is easy in comparision.

It never seemed to spawn 2 at once since the demand for Hunters was definitely more (given the 5 max) but i think the downtime between them was at least a bit less.

Yeah you aren't the only 1. a lot of people ended up the same infected over and over, its nice when you get 1 of the more active infected but when your getting Jockey or Smoker over and over in open ground its kinda lame.

Was a good game, though i couldn't play hunter to save my life... kept going straight through people.

I did. Not very often but it did happen. It is random though, I'm glad we didn't constantly get 2 chargers at once or it would have been far too manic. For the last two stages I dropped common down to default as the server was getting very heavily loaded.

To also help keep performance up on the other servers (2x l4d1, 3 of the l4d2 and the TF2 server) I have stopped the 8v8 server again, and will only set it running when an 8v8 is due (weekends only).
 
I've just started playing this, (late I know). I'm finding it awesome, anyone fancy adding me to their friends list? (BigRochy). Cheers Guys.

Everyone who died in the flames deserved it - the others for not pulling back fast enough - and me for being foolhardy enough to hang about and try to burn the tanks :D

Well at least i'd been waiting downstairs, a good distance away from the inevitable molotov that spread over all the stairs and killed everyone.

*is sure i was responsible for that fail molotov a few months ago*
 
Played a few normal rounds with some pick up groups in Advanced. Why on earth do people try to stand toe to toe with a Tank? Even on normal you're pretty much gonna get creamed without support so why would anyone possibly try to do this on Advanced is beyond me? Twice every one in the team except me got smeared all over the room by nor doing the run and gun and trying to take him on one on one.

Maybe they got blocked by zombies, the ones that are behind you yet seem to stop you in your tracks. Then every time the tank knocks you down, it takes the exact same time to stand up and get your gun ready before being knocked down again. You cant move at all, really annoying.

Burn and run is a good tactic.

*shrug* many reasons. If you play Expert normally then any other tank just seems weak since it aint a 1 hit incap. That and autoshotguns are best at close range and hitting it with a melee weapon is manly :cool:

Had an interesting glitch on NM yesterday. We were just having a public versus match and i fell THROUGH the elevator on NM4. 1 moment i was in it, the next i fell through it all the way to my death, was very random ><

The game obviously knows you too well now, it knows you'll die eventually so does it for you.... :D :p
