why dont they just admit they've messed up the coding of the demo and pull it offline entirely refund us pre ordering poor sods some money like 10% and just work on the final build. i mean even the final build must be going gold in the next week or so to meet it's manufacturing and shipping dates.
Or they should lead them on by giving them a date, let everyone thrash it out waiting on their respective forums, let them get bored and release it a week or two later
Steam is going to crumble when they actually let this loose on the public.
Yeah looks like they are testing it out before it goes public, although I'm not thinking its going to be really buggy if they've had this much trouble releasing it on time!
As for above comments, maybe the best way to release would be a day early, when no one is expecting it, imagine the prase Valve would get for doing that!
