** Official Mayhems Development Log **

please use our guide -> http://www.mayhems.co.uk/front/aurora-guide.html#.U7SgNvldWSo

Best way to get aurora working for long time is to use a tube res, keep the loop simple such as 1 cpu or single gpu with a 240 or 360 duel pass rad and a d5 pump set between 3 to 5

Many thanks for the response. Funnily enough I have a 480 rad with a D5 and tube res - cooling 1 cpu, and gpu, it all works very nice with the pump set at about 3.5. Looking forward to trying some Aurora 2, any chance of a gigabyte orange aurora 2?

1 x Mayhems Blitz Pro Cleaning System £24.95
Total : £30.92 (includes shipping : £4.98).

A lot of use really like this kit but are unsure in which situations we can use it in,

E.G in radiators only, or in a finished loop e.g. rads, pump and graphics blocks.

A small guide by the people who know would probably help a lot.

When you get it there is an instruction manual explaining every thing you need to know and how to do it all. There is a really good guide but youll need to google it "mayhems blitz namron" and this explains a lot.

Hiya guys,

Recently bought some of your Pastel Red coolant, it's only been in my system around 2 weeks but the colour seems to have gone flat.

Any reason for this?

I flushed out all components beforehand with Di water etc.

Hiya Mick,

Sorry wasn't very descriptive with my post, i guess simply it's just lost it's vibrancy, it looks almost "watered down".

I have two 240mm rads (XSPC 240 and GT240), didn't use Mayhems Blitz no, i used about 4L of Deionized water though and cleaned all rads and blocks thoroughly beforehand.

Cheers
Dave

Here's a picture of this system right after i finished it.

Here's one of how it looks now

It just seems to have lost it's deep colour, which is a shame because it did look awesome.

My new rig will have the Mayhems pastel red in it and I'm hoping it looks just like your first 'just finished' picture but if it ends up looking like your second image then I'll be sorely disappointed.

I hope there's a simple explanation/fix for this as I might have to reconsider and go for red tubing instead but this wouldn't be quite the same.

I wonder if the pigment is somehow gradually settling in the reservoir because there isn't enough agitation going on to keep it mixed or something?

its unusual but normally any debris can effect the colour e.g if it turning colour then the coolant iss doing its job and lifting the crap off your rads and suspending it and protecting your hardware. Red is a fickle colour and if you system has any crud lying in wait it will effect the red colour.

I'm not sure tbh bud, like i mentioned i did as advised and flush the rads with DI water, 5L of the stuff in-fact, which should be plenty, nothing came out.

I really can't justify spending yet more money on on coolant and DI water to do it all again, but looks like i have no choice, it's a bitter pill to swallow.

Hope you get it sorted.

I'll be checking in here to see how you get on and to help with my decision making as I don't want to get into constantly spending and the hassles of having to clean over and over either.

I love how your rig looked in that first pic though, like blood pumping through the veins of your system, exactly how I want mine to look.

Rgr that mick,

Wasn't trying to bring down your product, just so you know, i love the stuff :) I'll get the pro cleaning kit when i get chance, along with some more Pastel red and post back my results bud.

Thanks for you help.

No there are two main kits, "Mayhems Blitz Pro" Which is for rads and PC as a whole. The first part is only made to cleans rads separately and the second part is for the entire loop. The "Mayhems Blitz Basic" kit is for the entire system but doesn't acid bath the rads (which part one does in the pro kit).

@uksoldierboy i understand that just stating why we brought out such a high end cleaning kit.

Update Mick,

I'll be ordering your Pro cleaning kit, along with some new Pastel Red coolant today.

I'll do a little write up on my experiences using it and the end result, it does look a fantastic cleaning kit so i'm excited to hold of it.
