First time playing a flight sim and omg I am 100% sold. Absolutely incredible sense of immersion and it's just so so immensely satisfying learning how to fly.

Fortunately I am blessed with a high-end system and a serious HDR monitor to boot, the latter of which I think is really adding to the immersion as HDR is just incredible in this game, easily the best implementation of it I've ever seen in any game or film.

Last night I flew from my local airport to Paris at night and it was just so amazing, especially as I managed to land too haha.
I then took an Icon across Ibiza for a casual day time flight to see a beach I'd been to before and it was just awesome, really felt like I was actually there.

Gonna drop £80 on the top tier version of this, it's easily worth my money and can't wait to see how it evolves.

Performance has been a very mixed bag for me. Anything from 15fps to 50+ with everything on the absolute max it will go. It really doesn't seem to matter with this game though as it's so relaxed and slow-paced.
 
BTW has anyone been able to move windows to another monitor? For instances objectives or ai controls from the menu at the top of the screen.

If i click the middle button it changes to a generic window but then I can't move it and the game seems to have frozen forcing a restart.
 
My brother in law got it up and running on his dell gaming pc and surprisingly it runs really well at medium settings so we had a fly around on multiplayer. Really good but it would be awesome to hear each other talk to ATC. At the moment you can only hear other traffic (had it on live) and your Comms with them.

If you press right alt on an aircraft screen and then left click , it will move it into a window you can drag onto your 2nd monitor.

I'll see if I can get on, but can't make any promises as I have to get my 5 month old son to bed!

I also have little idea about programming navigation and startup stuff on GA planes! Give me the 737-800 and I'm your man, but bear with me on GA!! :)

Not had any issues with freezing, but anything I move onto another screen can no longer be interacted with. For the bush flights I've been adjusting the map so it shows the whole of the current leg and then moving it to another screen.

Mousing over windows after moving them also seems to block the main control inputs, but they work again as soon as you mouse off them. Saw another post on the MS forums describing exactly the same things.
 
I've been keenly watching the build up to launch; and now its out I'm going to have to get it; jealous of all the fun everyone is having... I will need to build a new gaming PC first though!!!

Ditto! Well, my son is nearly 4 so isn't too bad at going to bed now. Zibo 737 was my plane of choice and really had that nailed from cold and dark then moved to the flight factor a320.

GA stuff is quite easy to pick up
 
Has anyone noticed the 747 on V-NAV & L-NAV seems to sway about the flight path and never seem to stay on the line? Everytime I check my MFD it's either left or right of the line!

I got the Toliss A319 aswell as the zibo but have only really scratched the surface with the Toliss.
