Can anyone help with the fuel loads?

I'm trying to do a flight from London to New York in the Dreamliner, but when I try to use the travel to approach function, it says I don't have enough fuel?

Before the flight, I go to the fuel and weight section, and it normally tops out at around 93% for max fuel, surely this should be enough? And in game, it says fuel at 93%, what am I doing wrong?

Haven't got that plane as I'm running standard edition but with the current weather and an automatic routing simbrief is saying you need
BLOCK FUEL - 151235 Lbs

Does anyone here know how to set it so the parking brakes don't automatically apply every time you come to a halt?

Also, just tried the Dreamliner and it feels incredibly sluggish in joystick responses whilst in the air and for some reason doesn't have a particularly tight turning circle on the ground when taxiing. Can't figure out if its my controls and rudder settings or whether that's just how it is. Could hardly make the taxi way turns at Liverpool airport. Hmmm...

There isnt a separate tiller control to map that I aren't aware of is there?

The controls in the airbus also lack a lot of authority, I think they can’t model fly by wire very well at the moment as they don’t work in the same way as a traditional control.

I haven’t checked to see if there is a dedicated control for ground steering but certainly on the real things the nose angle from rudder pedals is limited. Try using differential braking and/or asymmetrical thrust to make up for it if you can’t find a control.

Also, the field of view in airliners is terrible. It just feels wrong, the FOV is too high and its hard to see the instruments clearly whilst also maintaining a decent view out of the windows.

Also, there is a script to reduce the refresh rates in the display screens in the cockpits rather than forcing the sim to update to 60 fps to match your fps for example. It scales the refresh for the screens to like a quarter of your fps and so your computer has much fewer calculations to do. Just bang it into your community folder. Significant fps gains in cockpit view.

Can confirm the boost in frames :)

Always had issues with airliners at Heathrow, but this little fix gave me a smooth 30fps on the runway, where it would normally be around 20-25fps.

In the air, I'd get around 28 fps, now smooth at around 35fps.

I went with the custom file, if I know how to tweak it more, I'd be happy to make the refresh rate lower to get even more fps.

Smaller plans have always performed well for me.

The normal one gained me around 6fps, the custom, which I prefer, around 4fps. A big difference, when I'm in 30fps zone. Thanks for sharing.

Plenty round New York. Not tried the Greek islands yet.

Seems like for me, boat traffic is very sparse, even at 100. I think it need some tweaking.

Er, I can't seem to access the install folder. Mine is locked and impossible it would appear, to unlock.

That looks incredible. But looking at the dev console, you’re actually rendering more pixels than 3440x1440. It says 4128x1700. Do you have render scaling above 100? I think you may have.
Looks like i had render scaling at 120

These were the settings i was using at the time

Thrustmaster hotas 4 purchased yesterday and 5 long hours of downloading and all is good! Had a good flight from Exeter over Dartmoor and around the coast and what can I say... love it!!! Doubt my missus will though..

*edit* one thing that’s annoying though - how do you set weather to be “local” as default? Seems to default to clear skies for me
Might be a bit behind in my post. But reading a lot of people suggesting live weather is hit or miss. They have not listed it as a patch fix (along with auto pilot) which is a shame. Some people have suggested starting as admin helps chances of seeing real time weather.
