**** Official Microsoft Flight Simulator Thread ****

Even a 4080Ti may struggle by then at max - raytracing will come next year, I imagine at 4k max settings in this game even next gen hardware will struggle at 4k native.

They’ve stated it’s a 10+yr game for them so expect it to be updated to continue to murder your hardware for the foreseeable :D

Saitek x52 pro flight control system any good? Anyone used one?
Cheaper thrust master is out of stock everywhere unfortunately and thinking of this one instead.

Edit this is now out of stock...bah

Does anyone know if there are any in-game tutorials/training/instructors for different aircraft?

I mean, apart from the base-game Cessna ones? The tutorials by Squirrel on youtube are great, but was hoping to find something in-game.

Thanks.

Not sure if you want to spend money, but I did just see this mentioned on the main forums - no idea how good it is.

Has anyone bought the marketplace content such as city packs?

Seems to me that if a 3080 struggles to run the base game then no point ‘upgrading’ the visuals?

I haven't, but a 3080 doesn't exactly struggle to run the base game. My 1080 can play high settings at 1440p without too much bother.

I have an Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and on 27/10 bought a Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant.. It has since been delayed three times with the latest delay (due today) now saying it will arrive on 20/01/2021. I don't have a lot of faith that it will arrive on that day however i really hope it does. Is there another throttle in a similar price range to the Honeycomb Bravo that i could buy quicker or should i just wait and hope it arrives. I'm happy to pay a little more for something better if it gets here quicker too.

The Bravo is a unique product so wait. Production of these only started in November and the pre order list must be very large. Mine was pre ordered in April from Germany and was finally delivered from Germany by UPS last night!
