I’d imagine it gets pretty expensive though with all the add ons. Plus, it’s much nicer to have it all wrapped up in one package rather than mucking about with configurations. Used to drive me nuts trying to configure add ons to work properly with FSX.With just the base game yes, X-Plane can look a bit naff, but with scenery add-ons and Ortho if can look much better. On the whole agree though, MSFS2020 will be a massive step forward.
Have been asking the same question myself not sure on which to go for.The next question is around monitor setup. Is an Ultra wide better than dual or triple setups?
LMAO at these minimum specs! You’ll be lucky to get past the menu screens with 8GB of RAM!

Stuff that is blurred out on bing maps (eg military areas) will generally not have anything there, since it is using bing maps for the data.
