Its on steam, You can only wishlist it at the moment.
Yes exactly the main Trim control on any light aircraft is for the elevator and controls the pitch (up and down) of the aircraft that you normally control with the yoke. Only heavier multi engined aircraft have a trim for the rudder and this is only really used to dial out any difference in thrust from the engines on one side of the aircraft vs the other - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_control_surfaces
I've just removed all traces of P3D from my computer. Never going back to that. XP11 still remains but removed some scenery add-ons. XP11 will likely go altogether soon as well I think.
The moment VR support is enabled XP11 is gone for me too.
I was so looking forward to this simulator but after just 3h in Beta build I'm done... they made world simulator not flight simulator I hope they fix this before 18th August. I'm so angry and disappointed. Go back to that fancy 8 things video and focus only on plane behavior. Aerodynamics in this game need serious fixing so does control and if you liked watching your landings in replay well not anymore though it might get added. Now I know what someone felt when they preorderd no man's sky when it came out.
I keep on getting flash backs of http://www.dtgflightschool.com/ when I look at the youtube videos. looking all very pretty but I have not seen in depth sim videos. The voice over with the missions looks very much like the flight school game. But the whole world modelled this time round, with traffic.I was so looking forward to this simulator but after just 3h in Beta build I'm done... they made world simulator not flight simulator I hope they fix this before 18th August. This is weird because I always knew FSX and XPlane 11 is not realistic enough, take Cessna 152 for instance which I did fly in real life, way harder than I expected and this "harder" aspect I was expecting from FSX and Xplane 11Kinda why I'm not pressing delete on XPlane11 just yet...
Care to expand a little?
Manchester Airport is plain
Worth pointing out that even the builds being shown everywhere at the moment are beta builds, work is still ongoing.

I got invite at 11pm went to bed could not sleep, went to work told my gf to dowload it jump straight after work. Loaded Lukla, take-off in Daher TBM 930 controls all over the place no trim, landed first try plane stopped little further than half way, went in setting and checked flight model default was modern, switching to legacy made no difference. Went on few others airports and again it felt like something between GTAV and FSX. Elevation all over the place and changing sensitivity only changed balance , rudder creates too much side force, plane control have same input at low and high speed again not in real planes and there is weird bounce almost like flying on suspension. On Alpha forum there is a lot of people saying it is amazing and they placed orders and other half scream since April this is not realistic and not ready. Plane models and cocpit looks amazing, runways finally have correct slopes but no realism, I hope they will add more settings to change control to maybe fix some realism issues, at the moment you only get dead zone and broken sensitivity required you to play on -70% I will not be buying it as it is now.
Thrustmaster T flight hotas x can be had cheaply and has lots of buttons. I used mine for about 200 hrs of elite
