I did first time i launched it, i closed it and relaunched it and now its downloading the updates.Do you just have a splash screen of sorts with a blue bar at the bottom but no % or time left etc?
wow.
Okay, just had a little fly.
My CPU (4C/8T Haswell) is at around 50% most of the time, but my GPU (Vega 56) is at 99%. I left it on the default High End setting, turned V Sync off (I have Radeon Chill on to limit fps to 75), at 1440p and it was pretty smooth - definitely above 30-40 fps.
HOWEVER - has anyone managed to work out how the camera works? How do I get an external freelook like we had in FSX/P3D? Using the hat switch on my joystick? It's driving me mad. What's all this smart view nonsense??!
I'm probably going to have to spend the rest of the night remapping every single control to be as close to FSX as possible as that's what I'm use to.
go to showcase, and then the drone camera. Xbox controller is easiest way to control it imo.
If you turn off auto renew you can resubscribe for £1 again when it runs out.I'm currently staring at the game pass subscribe thing thinking this has to be some some sort of mistake. What's the catch here?! I can't find out when the £1 fee ends, but even so, £3.99 per month is still a great deal.

Download is slow as hell though, about 25gb in 2 and a half hours.
Did you buy it outright or through game pass? the flightsim reddit seem to indicate Microsoft locked purchased copies to the region it was purchased.Hmm mine does a checking for updates thing but then just goes to that screen with the blue bar. Think I'll just wait a few days![]()
