**** Official Microsoft Flight Simulator Thread ****

Been watch 2-3 real commercial jet pilots streaming this and they all seem to have similar problems with the autopilot and a few other systems where it seems to target things a bit off and/or result in oscillations or just doing odd things, etc.

Above clip is from the longer vid flying over Solent, Gosport, Portsmouth and then landing at Southampton as the Solent runway is too small for this plane lol.


I also flew around Queenstown, NZ (cheers for the reminder @loltim ) and what a stunning place that is:

 
The 360p one should change to 2160p60fps soon, as it's still processing the 10GB video :p

I'm using the "high-end" preset btw but am tempted to out water reflections on ultra.
 
:cool: nice one. Can I ask which version of FS did you get? I'm struggling to verify the version that the MS store claims I have. It says premium on the tin but is there anyway to find that out in game?
 
I just have the standard version that's part of Game Pass really so not sure how you check versions of tin versions!
 
I want to get a proper hotas / joystick, which would be best for a beginner wanting to take next step?

Currently using a game pad..
 
Commercial flight in the Airbus from East Midlands to Dublin tonight. Cruising at 36,000FT (needed on such a short flight?) much smoother flight I just need to get to grips with instrument flying more. And controlling speed better on the descent oh and also planning the descent much earlier. Good landing though and taxi to the gate.
