**Official MikroTik Hardware **

I'm pretty happy so far with mine. I just miss the tools at the console level vs Linux. Apart from that I'm impressed with all the features built into RouterOS.
I was playing around with the WiFi 5g this vs that. The A7 is 2 mtrs away from me behind the telly and the Mikrotik Hap ax2 is upstairs in a cupboard, testing with AC Card only 4 Thread UDP BTest Sever running on the router.

I'm confused. The router I have that the person asked about doesn't have wireless

Sorry my bad, I bought a Mikrotik Hap ax2 a little while back which is what I was referring to. So all the tests are from a laptop with a Realtek RTL8822CE M.2 which has 2 WDR 3600 Antennas plugged into it. I'm testing 80-wide to an Archer A7 then to my new Mikrotik Hap ax2 re the graph above. The Reason I asked is because I've not seen you comment on your new device since you created the Thread. I was looking at buying one in the future!
Ahh right ok cool. I'm hopeful that I can have it up and active within the next few weeks.

All I tested in it was the poe capability lol.

I am waiting for the rewiring of my house to be done which is blocked by the roofing job and i am waiting for the community fibre to be installed (I have pushed that back 4 times now!)

Is there such a thing as an SFP+ that runs at 2.5Gbps? I thought the underlying interface was always 10Gbps.
Yes i laready have some of them running at 1gb speeds
Mikrotik S+RJ10

Yes but No - it's up to the switch to implement anything other than 10Gbps (most switches won't)

Edit:
Nothing mentioned on the compatibility matrix or support page about it not running at 2.5Gb in the CRS309-1G-8S+
But on the routerOS via winbox, there is no option to select 2.5gb on the ports
