Thanks for the heads, it looks nice im just not sure about the combat.
I believe the censorship surrounded a 15 year old girl wearing......almost nothing.
Not my cup of tea.
If you've never played Xenoblade before then probably best to just ignore vids of the combat system - it'll just freak you out. When you have the game in your hands then the combat system is super satisfying. Pointless trying to get to feel/understand it through watching vids - you need to be controlling it and making the decisions on how to strike the enemy and where to strike the enemy for it all to click.

The more videos i watch the more interested i become what game would you say the the combat is similar to? Did the last Xenoblade have a solid story?
The combat system is unique, but think FF if you want to liken it to something.
Basically what's going on is auto-combat - with you controlling the party member of your choice, you are choosing though positional factors - front side or rear attack, what to strike with (timing gets you the equivalent of a critical hit), myriad of spells casts weapons etc, team link up attacks called chain attacks and party member skill trees and pairings and importantly when to run away
It's quite complex - you can't see what's going on just from gameplay vids - some battles can take zero planning, some you might need to think through over a cuppa and a biscuit whilst you prepare items weapons armour lead party member skill tree points etc.
First time I played Xenoblade my reaction was WTF is this poo - but then it gets you - BIG TIME.
