Just select it and press A, you'll be taken to a screen where you can select from a list of items to enchant, then you need to rename the item, then press X to create it. :)

Got a cracking Sigil Stone yesterday which has a 20pt Fire Damage on every attack. Powerful as hell, but I bet I'll only get a few hits before it needs recharging.
 
yeah wouldnt mind getting into arcane university problem is been kicked out thiefs guild for stealing from them it was acident to didnt mean to ppick pocket forgot was sneaking shame you cant apologise and say was accident so no gotta collect 50 summin or other cant be bothered right now doing other side quest and only just done one oblivion gate been playing it for 38 hours only level fifteen

Sigil Stones are the things you get from closing the Oblivion Gates arnt they?

It's just I'm sure I have looked at it in my inventory and there were no options to use it.

Will look again tonight though :)

Couldnt you have just reloaded to before you accidentally pick-pocketed?
 
Just a quick question about the dark brotherhood. I kind of accidentily killed the guy that comes to speak to you during the night. :rolleyes:

Do you get another chance or is that it? I am not particularly bothered it would just be nice to know.

yeah coulda done but wanna play game in full,the good the bad and the ugly parts. i'll try enchanting sword tonight gotta work at min which sucks happily lock myself in room with just oblivion and a phone with pizza on speed dial.
 
where ever you find ghosts there a ship in anvil that has a quest involving ghosts on a galleon. talk to women on the deck, there quite strong and you'll need either magical or silver sword to kill them if your not magic based character .easiest way to kill them is to lore them outside one at time theres 5 i think the towns foke will help when they see it .
 
Those who have finished it? would you reccomend doing the main quest first or messing about doing guilds and exploring. I have done none of the main quest yet after around 6 hours gameplay.
 
I haven't done much of the main quest at all, I have too many other quests to occupy my time! Oh and people to assassinate mwahahaha!
 
I've done the first 3-4 parts of the main quest, but I'm still bouncing from place to place, doing random quests here and there for people and for guilds. It's definitely a game you can play at your own pace in your own style :)

Agreed although I havn't even touched the main quest yet.

I have joined the fighters guild and the mages guild though. And just generally explored. Got myself a silver sword already and killed a dark brotherhood person by accident. (I wasn't paying attention)

This is why I love it so much, after 40 hours of play I've only closed three Oblivion gates and still haven't got the amulet back yet. In fact, until last night I'd only been to four of the main cities!

Does anyone else have a crap-your-pants moment whenever the sky turns red and it starts to thunder? Just me? OK.

My gf did! I was fighting some scamps by one of the Oblivion gates and she freaked when the sky turned a deep dark red :D
 
yeah i enjoyed that you get a good amulet on that quest ghosts were hard to kill though,quick question talking to mate who has game on pc apparently theres button allows you to drag did ppl and throw objects. anyone found such a button on 360 button coz i can't
 
Tell you what, I quickly had a 20min blast while getting ready for work at 05:00 this morning. I did some painters quest where the chap in question had gone missing - what a quest! The quest sorta takes you into a different world so to speak and the effect was quite stunning :)
 
Right, thanks to whichever bright spark suggested i run out on top deck in the Galleon Ghost quest in Anvil i'm now short 2 Ectoplasm as the ghosties fell in the sea :( Where else can i find 2 ghosties?

Also, how do i buy the houses that are for sale. There locked?

Evil Slimers can be found in the basement of most chapel/churches.
To buy houses, goto the castle and talk to the councilor chap.
