** Official Oblivion Story / Help Thread **

Oh my! This game looks so much better on the 360 compared to my Radeon X850XT PE. I am almost wetting myself at the visual treat on the screen. It picked up the patch on first load so any niggles should be fixed, too. Bonus!

i recently played it till i thought i was done, i do like RPG's but started to get very bored of this, still though did a good 56hours :)

Does look good outside when you're high up and can seen into the Horizon.

Theres a patch?

Had a question about the Pirate ship at the Waterfront. I searched the thread but couldn't see any mention of it.

I got warned off by the pirates, so I shot some flame spell at them from a long way off and ran away, did this a couple of times and the guard must have seen them chasing me as he came and killed them all.

So I have the run of the ship and want to use it as my house - can I safely store stuff here, or will it get stolen or disappear after a while?

I was always under the impression that you had to store your stuff in a house that you have paid for or one of the Guilds...

Yep true. Although a owned house is the safest place. You could store it in a guild chest but theres a risk factor in it, should the game world suddenly 'refresh' the contents of a chest with its original contents then yer stuff will be erased.

Okay so pretty much it's not really safe to store my stuff in the...ahem my pirate ship?

I might have to download the new tower add-on and use that - are there any restrictions, do you have to earn it in a quest, pay for it, or do you just get it right away?

Was about to suggest that :) You get the tower right away as you enter the game, although as with any house I think you'll have to buy some furnishings in town first.

Need some help making money!!

I'm level 4 and only have 600 gold, I already have the Umbra armour and sword and want to buy the haunted manor in Anvil but can't get anything like the 5000 gold I need.

I sell mostly everything I get but don't ever seem to be able to hold onto money (buying soul gems etc).

Any tips?

Keep playing! You're wanting too much too soon! Level 4 is barely scratching the surface. When you get to higher levels you will find magical items in the caves/dungeons which you can sell for tidy profits.

I lost LOADS of stuff by storing everything in a chest in a camp in Bruma just before the 'final battle'. When I came back the camp was gone
