I went through the gates but i never been thorugh that portal i thought about it but then i thought surely something dodgy got to be in their.

Im only level 3 but i manged to kill all the things around through the gate.

So followed even further and ended me up in place next to the sea Anvil. :)

I did the oblivion gate closing at lv 2 and im now level 7 and still cannot retake kvatch lol. Theres simply too much to kill at once :(
 
oh right so its a bit on the hard side then??lol, ive talked to the guard bloke, killed some impy fire throwing things, talked to the stubborn martin again and he still refuses , damn him?
 
wait a min i walked straight into the portal, and just came out to the gate?? i didnt go anywhere, just walked straight through it??

that bits the easy part of kvatch :P Near the castle theres around 3x more enemies at once and you have less men with you lol. Odd that martin isnt following you. Been through all of the conversations with him and put your weapon away? People like you less if you have your weapon drawn so he might not follow lol. Bribe him otherwise :P

youve gotta click on the oblivion gate to go to oblivion, its not like stargate and you just walk into it :P
 
Just joined the Dark Brotherhood and about to go on my first mission, Watery Grave.

Lovely dress sense I have now, the black robes go well with my flourecent purple hair!

If you don't mind me asking, where do you go to inquire about joining the Dark Brotherhood. Just the starting point please nothing more info wise :)

I found retaking Kvatch a piece of **** tbh and I'm a level 4 thief. I've got some nice rings but that's about all I've got. I've become a vampire slayer, but that was a bit short lived unfortunately - great for raking in 250 septims per vampire killed though.

Now I'm stuck on the second mission of the Fighter's Guild the one in the shop where you have to kill the three guys...

My swordfighting in general seems to be pap, I hack away at people for ages before they go down. I'm using a Blades Katana and I'm an apprentice with Blades. Any tips?

No swearing.

If you want a starter, and nothing else, then there's a quest that needs to be done by a rather paranoid character in Skingrad. Something you do in this quest will give you a visit from a Dark Brotherhood recruiter when you do something in bed ;)

Cheers, thanks for keeping it very brief - I haven't explored Skingrad properly yet. Time for a visit methinks ;)

Doing "The sunken Man" quest, just recovered the body from the sand*something caves..

Except, a huge-ass rock creature comes at me, what do I do? I tried running but got clobbered to death! Is there anyway to stop him!?
 
6am now and ive had three crashes playing oblivion in the last hour, could be something to do with the fact that its been on for almost 11hrs.....

Didnt feel hot in the slightest tho lol


Cant put this damn game down :-)
 
Hi all, after robbing 2 houses in Imperial City I now have a bounty of 5 and I can't talk to guards without getting arrested lol. How can I get rid of this?

(New to Elder Scrolls series.)

when you see a guard they give you 3 choices:

pay fine
resist arrest (you fight the guard in other words)
go to jail

pay fine and go to jail have your stolen items removed. Big difference to this game and morrowind is that on oblivion you can only really sell stolen stuff to thieves guild members lol. Try flog it before you got caught by a guard then go face the music so to speak. Best way of making cash ive found is arena betting, fighting in the arena and fighters guild quest rewards
