Might have to get involved with some of the other modes like this team stuff once i'm back in to the swing of things.

I might have to get involved in this thing. Wasn't too bad when before I left school last year. I think I have a chess.com account but was really put off by games being played over a month. A match could barely hold my interest for 150 minutes.

Yeah, I've got far too many games going on at once at the moment.
I'm not going to accept any more challenges for a while.
Indeed I have 27 on the go at the moment.. thing is I make the moves then no one has responded so I start a few more games... must resist!

Going well. Credit to Nix for generating a lot of interest (has been tried and not really succeeded before on here). Lets hope it continues, it provides a rich learning ground for everyone involved.

Very nice. He was far too hasty in taking your Queen. Although I'm really not sure what the idea was behind his opening in the first place.

Haven't played in years, once upon a time i wasn't bad, not exactly a chess master but i used to beat most of my friends. Can't remember much form back then however we're talking like 6 years without a single game. Stuff it i'll sign up.

Stupid work computers wont let me play

This is where chess goes way over my head XD
Me and my friends play a bit, and we're all at a similar level, generally pretty even win/losses against each other, and part of me doesn't want to learn and get much better at the game because then I'll be better than them, constantly winning, and probably not as fun a game XD
Of course, this could be solved by kicking them into learning a bit more of the game as well, but I'm not sure how much time I have. All these openings and gamits, I do enough learning at uni as it is :3

Really well played - that queen sacrifice was something else I would have never even have contemplated looking for something like that. I do admit to going into the analysis board for a long time to look at what I would consider feasible chains of moves - but that would not have even crossed my mind to explore. Nice one!
