Hi Folks

over the past few months the OcUK tech team has been benchmarking hardware and adding our scores to www.hwbot.org

we are currently in the top few UK teams with only a few submissions

there is another "OcUK" team - this is not the one we are using, please make sure you sign up to "Overclockers UK (OcUK)"

i thought it would be great if our forum members could join in on the action and add their scores as part of team OcUK

this way, everyone can compare scores, chat about overclocking and get a worldwide rank for their hardware

HWBOT works in a way that every system is treated individually
this means that even if your rig is really low end or if you have some obscure hardware, you can theoretically beat the guys with quad SLI i7 rigs

the benchmarks at the moment include

most of the benchmarks are available for free

all you need to do is benchmark according to the HWBOT rules

I updated the team so you need to join using a password

the password is :OCUK

any member breaking the rules or cheating gets the team banned
which will ruin everybodies hard work

we can use this thread to discuss related issues

so sign up, join the OcUK Team and get benching!

thats the general intention
hopefully it will generate a good community

even if everyone gets one point - it will still be worth it! :)

on a sidenote - 3dmark06 seems to give me LOTS of points every time i submit

i did one with a C0 920 @ 4.2GHz and 2 overclocked 4870X2's and got a load of points

but didnt get much in vantage with quad sli 295s

oh - remember to TURN OFF PHYSX in vantage or your submission gets cancelled

Just downloaded wPrime as well, and it just wont run :( Tried both v1.55 and v2.00 and both just say "Unexpected Error; quitting" when I try and run it. Thought it might just be because Im using windows 7, but ran in compatability mode and same happened :( any ideas?
